LOOM 1574 Board of Officers 2010/2011
LOOM,
It has been a pleasure being your Governor for the last 2 years. It was a difficult time with the selling of the Lodge, but we all made it through. There will be some more stressful times coming with the finding of a new home, let us all support the new board. If we all work together we can have a thriving lodge once again. "THE TIME IS NOW"
The elections are done. Governor:Tom Sheehan, Junior Governor: Tom Wheeler, Junior Past Governor: James Bailey, Treasurer: Frank Diette, Prelate:Bill Hansen, 3rd Year Trustee: Duane Smith, 2nd Year Trustee: Bill Wert . We still need a 1st Year Trustee if anybody is interested. The Installation of Officers will be held on April 17th at 2:00 PM at the East Hartford Moose Lodge.
There will be a New Building Committee meeting on April 12th and April 26th 7:00 PM at the Rockville Elks. If you happen to find a site that would be a good spot for our new lodge please send an email and we will make sure Tom gets the information.
Lodge Meetings are April 13th and April 27th 7:00 PM Rockville Elks.

The Loyal Order of Moose is a fraternal and service organization founded in 1888, with nearly 800,000 men in roughly 1,800 Lodges, in all 50 states and four Canadian provinces, plus Great Britain and Bermuda.
Along with other units of Moose International, the Loyal Order of Moose supports the operation of Mooseheart Child City & School , a 1,000-acre community for children and teens in need, located 40 miles west of Chicago; and Moosehaven , a 70-acre retirement community for its members near Jacksonville, FL. Additionally, Moose Lodges conduct approximately $50 million worth of community service (counting monetary donations and volunteer hours worked) annually.
Additionally, the Loyal Order of Moose conducts numerous sports and recreational programs, in local Lodges and Family Centers in the majority of 44 State and Provincial Associations, and on a fraternity-wide basis.
