The Boy Scouts of America is a great organization. Boy Scouting is a year - round program for boys around ages 11 - 17. Through the Boy Scout program young men can achieve the core objectives of strengthening character, personal fitness, and good citizenship. The Boy Scout Troop 20/20 meets at the Rockville Moose Lodge every Thursday night at 7 p.m. If you have a boy or a grandson interested in becoming a Scout please contact Tracey Arcelli.

Cost: Free Donations Are Welcome

Donations: We are looking for Halloween Candy for our Annual Kids Party. The party is October 26 2008, from 1:00 PM- 3:00 PM If you can donate a bag of candy please drop it off at Social Quarters.

Kids sign up sheet in Social Quarters please sign up by October 19th.

Christmas in October: We will have a mitten, hat & scarf tree at the end of November we will donate them to the local shelter. If you could bring them in at the Halloween Party that would be great. If not then bring them by Social Quarters.

Also this year we are going to have a box for Toys for Tots, if you plan on bringing your kids to the Halloween Party please bring a small gift, we are donating the toys to the Vernon Fire Department, so they can give out to the children in need. Remember this is what the Moose is about helping the children.

Potato's

2 Different kind of Vegetables

2 cans of Fruit

1 Large can of Yams

Olives, Pickles, & Cranberry Sauce

1 Large can of Chicken Broth

2 cans of Gravy

Dinner Rolls

Makings for a Homemade Pies (such as a apple or pumpkin pie)

Thanksgiving Basket is needed by November 19th 2008

Christmas Basket is needed by December 17th 2008
